Free at last!!!

I'm happy to report it's been 2 weeks since I last watched 'Alias' - I think I may be free at last!

Pushing the limits of my beliefs...

I am very against the death penalty. It's one of the many reasons I love living in this country. I seem to be in the minority, as a lot of people believe bringing it back will 'solve' the crime problems we have.

I disagree.

Mostly.

This incident that took place last week has pushed my beliefs to the limits and caused me moments of doubt:

Makgabo murder accused appearing

Three men accused of murdering four-year-old Makgabo Matlala are appearing in the Vereeniging Magistrates Court. The granddaughter of Transvaal Judge President Bernard Ngoepe was killed during an armed robbery at her Lenasia South home last week. Her attackers also gang raped the family's domestic worker. The men face charges of murder, rape and housebreaking.

It is possible these men are repeat offenders.
