A dream come true!

Ok - so not only did we see Lloyd Cole play live - TWICE - we also met him!!!

Purple summer!

A few weeks ago I saw a very cool and inspirational sight. A young woman had set up an easel along the side of the road and was painting the gorgeous Jacaranda trees that lined the street.

I knew I was too lazy to do the same, but the next week I took the camera and took some pics. I was actually a week too late - at least half the beautiful purple blossoms had fallen off the trees already...

Getting old(er)

A few days ago I had to concede that the 'bleached-blonde-by-the-sun' strands in my hair are in fact grey hairs.

I also don't recognise my hands - they belong to an aging woman.

I hate most new music.

I hate new technology and it confuses me.

But it's ok... because inside I feel like I'm finally getting to know myself.
